Sth Africa Fairings
« on: February 14, 2012, 03:04:52 PM »

Hi all

There's a shop in Sth Africa that make race fairings (fibreglass) and have some good reviews and prices.  But the killer (as always) is the air freight.  Anyone going to or know anyone going to j'berg sometime soon who is happy to cart an extra box in their luggage?  ;D   only 8kgs - would be classed as oversize but only marginally bigger than a bicycle box (150cm x 55 x 44).

I figure if the fairings are good we could set up some means of bringing a part container in with a variety of models... just a thought.

Almost half the price of sharkskins.  :woo:

thanks

Hi Hazim,

These are the Omega ones?

Been chatting to the guy that makes them... He also provides seat pads and dzus fasteners if u need them, but i was thinking just to get one set to see the fit / build quality. But hey if there are a half dozen people interested then shipping (not air) makes sense.
