i dont know how, where, who, when, why, whose bike is kept opposite to my building which was never there in the past 3 years.

I hope one of our fellow biker's time have come to get his stolen YAMAHA  which model but it looks like and old R6 / R1. Pictures attached but i am sure its going to hurt  too much to the owner becuase it has been tampered very badly.
All the cables are pulled out.
Key hole is Fu###d
Body fairing is opened.
The whole bike is spray painted in BLACK.. duplicate.
Salik is peeled off.
Number plate is cut and thrown away.

This bike i found today  in the opposite building while i was searching for my Yamaha R6 which is stolen from my building on 09-Feb-2012. I have already called and personally met the Police and CID in Buheirah Police Station (SHARJAH) but no one has taken any action yet. However i am hoping that they check the CCTV and find out who left this bike here.

Below is the Chasis number of this particular bike JYARJ06N04A001443
It shows something like 12/03 on the stickers and MADE IN JAPAN.

Please see the attached images and you may call at anytime 0551041985   or 0557231587 if it belongs to anyone you know because police has not yet taken it in their custody

Many thanks for the update Sperveiz, I am sure that someone will either recognize the bike or numbers if it belongs to them... :fing34:

Unfortunate as it may be, the best way to fight crime is with prevention, whilst it is not as common over here, there are those who will take your pride & joy for a few lousy Dollars.... :(

The worst lessons are the ones we learn after such an event....Take heed guys & gals, lock it or loose it  :bawling:

Nothing is being done about these stolen motorbikes, but our lame news agencies are reporting bicycles being stolen, shock, shock, horror, horror:

Ozimandius you are correct..
I myself tried to get an article published on in the news with help of some officials who work in a section (REPORT A CRIME) in gulf news but it was rejected as they publish the cases which are solved. So they can give credit to some department / station / team etc etc.
Atleast from khaleejtimes i got an email asking my Purchase papers, Registration, Picture, Police Complaint etc about the lost R6 when i requested them to put it on to the news. Even after forwarding all the docs i havent heard  / seen anything about this complaint.

I have to now try and comeover it.

Hearing about all the stolen bikes is really sad. I lost a bike back in Australia years ago and it's a horrible feeling.

I'm selling my Hayabusa at the moment but I will NEVER bring someone to where I live to look at it but rather meet them outside somewhere. I've heard of some bikes mysteriously disappearing after some prospective 'buyer' came to look at it a day or two before.

It's a pity that in this country where the crime rate is very low compared with most other places in the world the assholes are targeting us bikers..............

That's exactly the reason of these instances increasing in the country now. I so feel like walking up to all those fellow bikers i see on the road and tell them to not consider their place safe anymore. As over here no one asks anyone what they are doing with a bike / car assuming it must have broken down and they are trying to fix it.
