Dubai G2G thread
« on: July 30, 2011, 05:28:35 PM »

All right guys, let me introduce myself first. Rishi  :) from New Delhi, India. Been just a month at Dubai. My riding experience starts with Hero Honda 'Karizma' 220cc during my college at Bangalore. Used to ride with the guys from a similar forum xbhp.com. Then moved onto Yamaha R1 2001 which was quite a wild machine. Then again graduated to a better Yamaha R1 2006 at New Delhi and was now riding with GODS(Group of Delhi Superbikers) www.gods.co.in. Then moved to Doha where I was introduced to the Gulf Bikers for the first time and the usual biker's story.
Now back to scratch at Dubai, yet to pick up a ride, find the right petrolheads and discover those hangout spots.
So I look forward to catch up with you guys over a Get2Gether and talk the usual machine gossip. By the way, Im staying just behind Mall of Emirates.

Let the good times roll :bike:

Hey Rishi, welcome to the nuthouse, I am sure you will find plenty of company shortly, no shortage of like minded souls lurking here, they just hide away during the weekend.

Rishi welcome aboard the ship. You will enjoy your biking experience in UAE just choose your ride and you can do Friday morning runs to Hatta-Kalba or an evening ride in the city with like minded people and drop into Biker's Cafe on Jumierah Beach road. If you have a racer hidden inside you then you can put your skills to the test on trackdays.

thanks for the warm welcome guys.. can feel the groove already! Never been a track rider really, but more of biker who rides to keep the dust off his jacket.
Apparently I'm not yet licensed to ride, so still miles to go before I hit the tarmac.
Meanwhile, should be great seeing you guys in action.
Hope you guys are on BBM, buzz me at 234B65F4
Cheers!

HI guys!

I'm Imran. i'm new to the biking scene in UAE. I just got myself a used R6 and i can ride it, but honestly, not very confident.

I'm hoping to meet up some of you guys and get some tips. I'd like to learn how to use the bike well on the streets and if time & money permits, i'd do the tracks as well. Let me know if any of you decide on meeting up during the weekends.

Bye!!
