EID HOLIDAYS - RIDES

Any rides planned for the long holiday ahead (thursday 25th evening to Sat 3rd)??? was thinking of a Mussandam or Salalah ride.......along with the normal Kalba runs, havent seen many riders out the past months.......where is everyone ???

The heat is keeping bikers from such rides.  Wait till October.  They'll be back.

Private sector ppl arent getting a long holiday unfortunately. We only have off on 31st and the 1st. And a ride sounds good... Heat hasnt stopped me from riding all summer long  :dood:

all i know i was on top of hafeet last thursday evening doing 4 laps, monday evening at Kalba...never been to Salalah but already ride solo to Muscat twice. Mussandam is a good option, been there 3 times on solo ride. Make it happen X3Mist...

Sorry to see fellow riders crashing in our favorite twisty road, I can see this thread is a bit reminder to everyone as Mr. X3Mist had crashed morning of Friday right on the sharp right hand turn at the foot of small tunnel going to Kalba.

Mr. X3mist has been a very experienced on this road but we don't exactly know what causes the failure....so be carefull guys.

We are hoping for his fast recovery to join him again...

Hey guys! Thanks for all the help and support. I was discharged from kalba hospital today afternoon. I have fractured my right arm and a rib. Will be in NMC for the follow up.

I lost the front end, mid corner and the bike just slide. Since I was leaning off, my elbow made first contact. I'm guessing it was the slight drizzle or maybe a stone.

Hope to recover soon and get back in the game!
