Just need the original cover repaired with a similar material

Preferably close to hand like Al Quoz would be good

Used to be a good place next to the epco station Ras Al Khor, up from Dubike.

There is a small company in the Falcon centre opposite Nab Al Sheba racecourse, where the old camel market used to be.

Fillipino guys in there do quality work.

Also Satwa loop, but that is not so close....

1) Take car to work
2) Drop seat at the Emirates maintenance section
3) Fly to...
4) Return from flight
5) Collect seat from maintenance section
6) Fit seat
7) Drive home

Duck tape? or could you not ask the wife if she could sow it up? then you might need the MedCare!!!

what is this wife thing you refer to Ian, does not compute, sounds like a very expensive way of getting your seat fixed  :dunno:

Neil, I know a shop in Qusais which can do the complete interior of your Prado (Seat covers) in Alcantara material for about 650 - 800 dhs.

Thanks Imran, I was offered a complete interior by the place up by the Eppco station on the Hatta road (Al Awir) for 800aed.  But I would prefer to just repair the one I have, as I prefer the standard seat covers.

Frankly - probably not much more than a lot of the other crooks in this place but at least it'd match.

Max Garage did an excellent job on the bolsters and headlining in my Integrale, though I did supply fresh alcantara rather than do a repair job.

Alternatively, I had a tear in the leather of my Recaros which was stitched up expertly by the place opposite where ARM used to be in Al Quoz.  It's got a German name, I think.  Very VERY expensive, though, when I went to enquire about an interior refurb of the Lancia.
