New online diesel blog looking for features cars in the UAE - Can you help?

Hi Guys,

Having travelled to Dubai over the last few years for work, I've seen my fair share of beautiful cars during my stays.
On February 11th 2012 we're launching a blog dedicated to all things diesel - www.nosmokenopoke.com.

We're currently looking for interesting diesels across the world to feature on the site and I thought I'd pop by here to see if anybody owns, or knows an owner of such a vehicle in the UAE?

We have a car you might be interested in. It is a BMW 120d that we used at the Britcar 24hr in 2010 (finished 34th overall) and in the 2011 Dubai 24hr wher it finished 2nd in class. Added to this as 3 3rd place finishes in class during the regular touring car season.

We are currently preparing the car for the 2012 24hr race in January.

Nobody else running a nice diesel out there then? I thought there would be plenty of tricked out 4x4s and SUV's rolling around...

Due to cheap petrol and piss poor quality diesel, there's little point to owning a diesel here in all honesty.

The only diesels (apart from commercial trucks) I know of here that are officially sold are Land Rover Defenders, so you may be out of luck!

Fair one! I didn't realise diesel quality was bad out there...but I guess you can't argue with cheap petrol!

Hey we have sold a couple of Diesel Q7 V12 TDIs. I can check with the owners if they would be interested to talk.

At A2B Garage we've got the Ultimate Diesel!!!

A Ford F-250, 6.0 V8 Turbo Diesel. Lifted 8", 40" Tyres, 4" Exhaust and 4x 9" Spot Lamps.

It's Huge.

During the time in a car in my opinion pets should be kept in a cage and transported only in the trunk for safety reasons. ;D
