Taken from another thread, what would be classed as retro food?

Do remember the "Cabana" chocolate bar, bit like a bounty with bits of cherry in it if I remember correctly

They should bring them back.

I don't think there is such thing as retro food. Retro should be something new but made to imitate something from the past. Now if there was anything really good in the past then it stuck around until this day. The design of the pack of certain foods can be retro though ( like this popcorn box

)

this is my OPINION only, not trying to be smart

As for the chocolate, never heard of it (then again I'm from the Balkans and it probably wasn't available in the region)
