Time to update your profile picture Gernot. Looks like your gearing is almost spot on as you were about 750 rpm short of the redline on the start finish straight before you use the brakes for turn 1. Of course racing during the day should see them used!

Nice Gernot but, the bike looks to be moving around at the front quite a bit under hard acceleration, this needs a bit more time spending on the suspension setup I would say. Did it feel to be moving around a lot whilst riding it? To me the rear looks to be squatting down too much, maybe not enough compression damping as it appears quite stable under braking.... ???

Hey Ian,
Yes, as soon as the Ferret will capture me in action, I will update the profile pic :)
Gearing ratio is absolutely fine, cant wait for the first track DAY to happen to apply the proper breaking points. Excited much already.

hey Darren,
yes the bike seemed to move a bit, i like the feedback on the one hand, but you are right, she is moving around too much currently. In the moment of time, I do not want to change the suspension settings, as I do not rate the tyre feedback very high. I was running on Abdul's old slicks he used to qualify and race on in Qatar last season, as there is simply NO tyres in stock at Dunlop. Dont know what the guys are doing, dont get an answer from Chris either. Apparently the whole bike community is suffering already. Taking into consideration that i am pushing those old slicks quite hard, the suspension is doing a fine job :)
Hope the tyre issue is getting resolved soon, as I am getting a bit tired of riding on old, shredded tyres.

In that case then Gernot, you will def have to make some adjustments..... :deal:

Old tires, not as much grip......New tires, lots more grip, compounds the problem and makes it even more un-ridable.....Then you try harder to ride around the problem and the next thing you know is your sat on your arse asking what the f88k happened.... ??? :dunno:

Get it dialed in as soon as possible mate...Don't wait for race day, it will be too late then.... :fing34:

LoL, Ian. Broke the curse, didn't slide the bike on the new painted fairings for the first time this Friday :)
@ferret: would love to test it properly if I just could get hold of Chris and a new set of dunlops. Both a mission impossible currently. :(

Great footage and great riding pal. If I may be so bold as to make a tiny suggestion, all other comments considered about suspension and tyres, with which I agree, you could apex a little bit later out of turn 16 which would make for an easier pickup and acceleration down towards turn 1. You know you can brake later and I think you're going to do really well in the next season. I plan to be around to watch it. Good luck matey.
