Yea, saftey was always put forward as the primary issue which is acceptable.
But with that it was also said that YAS would start the work of increasinng the rUn-Off as the formula-1 gets over.

But no progress on preparing the track for bikes.

Just as sofian and taha pointed out - seems like YAS has no interest/intensions of having bikes on the circuit.

I reckon the only way to try out the track iss book our self for a level of CSS.
 

The interest is there, but the work needed to make the changes is huge in terms of time and expense.  its a business, If I was in their shoes i'd be weighing up the ROI on the changes and I doubt its there.

They could have gone down the road like Sepang to build a track that can host both F1 and Motogp but it seems they only wanted F1 or 4 wheels racing down the circuit. Wish a good consultant had put more sense before building the track. Now they are stuck and have to think twice before making changes to the track layout.

You could always cycle round the circuit on a Tuesday night......
