Never made the start then  :(

Saw it driving up and down the road outside before hand, didn't sound healthy at all.

What was the problem?

Sadly, ar 13:53 the team withdrew its entry form the event. The problem was that as soon as we touched ~3000 rpm the car died. So on safety grounds the team took the decided to withdraw from the event.

Over the last 3 days, the team changed the high pressure fule pump, sensors, injectors, engine maps, but alas no joy.

Plans are being put in place to resolve the issue.

Thanks for putting some noise regulations in place, not really ideal considering the circuit is right in the middle of a community where people live.  :angryfire:

Im a fellow motorsport maniac but this event wasnt what I would class as good PR......

If you bought or rented a property next to race track I am not sure what you expected? Oh by the way, the noise regulation is 110 DBa at 1/3rd rev range of each car.

The circuit was there first.

I recommend you move to Mirdiff.  Aircraft are marginally quieter.  Just don't expect them to relocate on your say so.

The noise that comes from the circuit doesnt bother me (During the day), i may just sit outside your house at 1am on my GSXR 1000 reving my engine - Obviously sticking within the 110db limit  :rolleyes:

As for moving to Mirdif, im fine where I am thanks  :wanka:

Dozza...How long have you lived here and did you not know that there is a yearly 24hr race at the racetrack... :dunno:

We don't have too many motorsport events to look forward to in this region but this is the yearly classic....As a motorsports fan I would have thought you would appreciate an event as good as this, every other Pertrolhead in the region does  :smiley_banghead:

For one night a year I would have thought a so called petrolhead 'maniac' would have a little more understanding, especially as you choose to live next to a race track..... :wanka:

never ceases to amaze me that people complain about this race. It's the 7th year it,s been held and it's hardly a secret. I hear international city is lovely and quiet all year around, I can put you in touch with an agent when your lease expires so as you are not inconvenienced next January.

The race was great, all 24hrs of it, the only bad part was being blinded by the sunlight bouncing of Ferrets bonce when he was up in the chopper :)
