I think Shadow has the point. A lot of buzz should be created around racing here and there will be no space on the stands. Right now I can see a couple of ideas how DA marketing department can increase spectators presence without making any adverts or other very expensive moves. It's just funny when having such a facility they can't attract people.
And one more thing for sponsors to know - if any brand is sponsoring a particular autodrome it doesn't mean that the brand is used in high performance cars. Only if there is a team of the same brand as atodrome is sponsored by - than it can be said that the brand is used in racing etc. I mean - let TOTAL sponsor autodrome but the racers are using (oil brand name) and here in UAE everyone will know what is really used and it will sell instead of TOTAL.
At the end - all this reluctance to sponsor teams when there are few spectators and sponsoring autodrome instead is because a "commission" is smaller IMHO

See another prime reason why drivers should just drive the car and leave the Team Managers to handle the organisational side of things.
