MBX bent wire stripping wheels
« on: December 10, 2011, 11:30:14 AM »

Anyone know where to get mbx bent wire stripping wheels here (dynabrade or other) - I found the dynabrade distributor but they're not answering my emails and supply to trade only, I think.

How many do you need? I have about a dozen pcs.

Not sure if they will be the same size though....

Thanks for the offer but I need to buy the tool as well. Not sure how many I'll need to strip the car - how well do they wear?

Saw Adam and picked one up yesterday - yet another example of how much better the right tool for the job actually is!  :)

Nice work.

Looks like Adam owes me a 6 pack for a sales commission

Pity he'd never heard of the forum and I couldn't tell him who "Axehead" was!  :bugerit:

Hi Stuart,

Any further comments on the machine? Worthwhile?

I am asking because I forgot I had 2 burnt out ones in my shed. Was going to strip them down to make one good one if possible. Just wondering if it will be worth the effort?

Thanks,

Mick

I would say so - enormously more efficient at removing old crud and underseal than any other method I've tried - much easier and much, much faster.

Mine is an air tool though (please!) - I'm guessing your "burned out" ones are electric?
