CNC Milling - 3 Axis Only Needed

Hi,

I need some cnc milling done. It's 2 items approx 350mm diameter, 30mm thick aluminium.

It's very simple and I can provide the 3D Cad model, stl or the cnc code.

I'm going to talk to Trinity but I'd prefer somewhere smaller where I can make sure it's done right.

Also, any ideas on where I can get the material? I have a source overseas but would be easier (and cheaper) if somewhere local had some off-cuts.

Might be a long shot but try Mark Powell at Saluki MotorSport they do fabrication work so he might know where / who so to speak.

Can try, Camtech in JAFZ, they've got 3 and 4 axis machines.

I contacted Roy and he is going to take a look at the design and see if they can do it or if not he probably knows someone who can.

If no joy there I'll contact Saluki.

what grade of aluminium do you want?

might be able to find some offcuts....

I'll owe you a big favour if you can! It's about 350mm diameter x 30mm thick and will need 3 or 4... Only 2 of them need to be cnc'd the other 2 will be bored out to leave about 15-20mm wall thickness so if I could find tube close to that size I would base the whole design around it. I have some flexibility on the exact dimensions.

Not too fussy about the grade but 6061 would be fine.

I can get off-cuts from the US but it's about 20KG (less if I can get tube) and shipping will be costly.

I'm happy to pay.
