OK, based on a few enquiries about painting places for cars at decent prices.  I went over to Sara Auto Care in Al Qoz, behind Times Square (see Google map above for location) for a look see.  Was very impressed by the chat I had with the shop manager, Glen.  Very helpful, gave me a tour of the premises, including pukka paint booth, rust treatment shed, detailing and polishing shed, as well as general mechanical work.  They were in the process of dong an E-Type shell as I wandered around    Anyway, the do a lot of the OEM insurance repairs stuff for all the dealers on the SZR and position themselves as a "mid level" priced repair shop.  They use only Dupont paints, and products, so again all good quality.

Anyway, the have offered us Petrolheads a 10% discount on the normal walk-in prices, this is a genuine discount and not a jack the prices up then discount after job

You wouldn't regret using Sara Auto Care. They did the Saluki buggy when I was with the team and also Fadi Melky's Range Rover Classic / Sport rally car. They do excellent work and don't cut corners. 

The owner has a big collection of classic and collectable cars including his own concours V12 E Type. Basically they are petrol heads who do a job properly. Not the cheapest, but you do actually get what you pay for, which makes a pleasant change in Dubai. Definitely recommended - and no, I don't work there

I purchased a 1984 GMC Jimmy from the owner (Mr Joe) and they are currently restoring it for me. So far, so good.

I can reiterate what has been mentioned previously. They are very friendly and professional.

Albeit not cheap and be warned............. if an exotic car comes in for detailing such as a SLR, etc, your car will drop to the back of the que!
