The great thing about summer weekends while the kids are in the UK, is that I get a lot done  :woo:. Which explains how I stumbled across a whole bunch of images from January that I'd never got around to sorting / editing / processing / posting.  :dunno:

So if you raced in the January Desert X - these are for you. This is just Day 2's photos, I'm still working on Day 1. So I'm doing them in the wrong order. Sue me  ;D

Glorious skies, careful positioning of the camera, a polarising filter, some under exposure and "voila". Season to taste..

Thanks guys. I don't know what it was about that weekend but everywhere I turned there were just some great shots to be had. Even at mid-day, the harsh shadows on the dunes worked a treat because you could use them to create half the photo.

Couple more for those of you who haven't 'clicked through'
 





There's some cracking shots from Day 1 as well so I should get on with those but bear with me as I've got business visitors this week, it's likely to be next weekend before I finish the other gallery  :blush:.

Careful Darren, I may wrestle that "Bit late with the pics" crown from your head yet :bow: :bow:
