Day 1 photos of January Desert X
« on: July 14, 2010, 09:33:28 PM »

I was really happy with the shots I got at this event so guys (and gals), sorry for the delay in posting them......

Some interesting new bike developments on display that day. Sean Linton demonstrates Gecko's "GRS" ground resistance system

KTM countered with their "Nospoke" race wheels

Not to be outdone, Honda responded with "Glistening Reflective Spinner" wheels

There's a joke here to be told about fluffy pink helmets....   I'll let Vicky tell it  :bolt:

Just great photo opportunities wherever I turned

And sometimes even the "missed' shots turned out well if you were lucky.....

Setting sun, dunescapes, bikes and dust. What's not to like?

It had to happen. Ansell goes artistic....... :bike:

And even 'old school' sepia toning looked good that day

Lots more over at www.SLRPM.com so please take a look. Let me know if you want prints. I get them done by a professional lab at VERY reasonable prices so even the very largest poster sized images typically cost less than Dh 100.

See you in Fujeirah. Tim
