I spoke to Ferret as I was driving up to Fujairah last night and he said he didn't expect to see my photos from the night on the 'net for 6 months.

So here they are, precisely 13 hours after I got home - most of which have been spent processing these or cleaning obscene amounts of crud off my camera and lenses. Unfortunately SLR cameras, not matter how expensive they are, cannot be hosed down after the event. More's the pity. Time will tell if I have some expensive repair bills to face

Overall I'm happy with these, though I was a bit hampered because I didn't have the ideal lens for the night with me. It is back in the UK (also for repair). Expensive bloody hobby this!

"When the $hit hits the lens"

"It were a bit muddy like"

I love the shots like this - but guess what's heading my way. I need a raincoat.

Always trying to make 'similar' shots look just a little different - else I get bored of them.

You should know me by now - I've got to have my artistic interlude.

The start of the big race.

And the end - I just knew this was coming so at least I was ready for it.

Right Sir Ferret, the gauntlet is down. I'm in the UK for the next Fujairah event so you Sir will have to step into my somewhat muddy shoes. You have a time of 13 hours to beat for a gallery of 49 pictures
Plenty more pictures here;
