Not sure if you mean central as in SZR?

But you can rent from KTM farm in Al Awir, or the trailer at sports stadium (hatta road).

Should cost 500 AED for a half day, including all safety equipment and fuel.

Both places you can ride straight to the desert, so no need for a 4x4 or trailer or anything.

James West also runs a very good rental/tour guide company, I have used it for various people and they cover every type of option from beginner to advanced...Bikes or quads, all the gear too so you literally turn up, kit up and ride...Guides can be arranged to lead the rides too so no issues on getting lost or finding the right terrain to ride.....

Ha!

does one need a license (car/bike?) to be able to rent either a quad bike or a dirt bike?

I have been asked for one before but more as security than anything else, guests have left passports.

However I stand by to be abused for being wrong  :box2:

:naughty: That's just wishful thinking Rich  ;D

And NO...You don't usually need a licence or passport unless your a Richard lookalike and then maybe you will as he does look a little bit dodgy
