I shot these a couple of weekends ago but what with the Dubai 24 Hours and 'real work' getting in the way, I only got to edit them this weekend. I realise they're of 'other racers in Bahrain' but the Maseratis will be in Abu Dhabi next weekend, so here's a taster to whet your appetite. The full gallery is here.

I didn't dare trip over Ferret - I was stood on the edge of a rocky 'cliff' for want of a better word, and it was an unguarded 25' drop

so I made VERY sure my feet were planted nice and secure!

It made for a nice change not to be at track level though so then I tried to make use of the funky coloured paint they've used all round the circuit in the run off areas. Joe Ghanem's car, in the last photo, just happened to match up quite nicely.

I coould have had some better shots but then some random bloke flew over really low in a helicopter and got dust all over my lenses. Can you imagine!!

There are some real selfish fookers out there Tim, only thinking of themselves and not the thousands of spectators who are there to see the event.....

By the way, it is a great circuit to shoot at and i know exactly which rock face you had climbed.....
