We do also provide bike insurance but are not able to provide online comparison quotes like we do for car, home and travel insurance. Unfortunately the insurance companies want to treat each potential bike insurance client as a unique case to measure their risk. There is an option on our website where you can ask for motorcycle insurance quotes. Our experts will than contact you with some questions and provide you with the quotes by email in return.

We deal with more insurance companies than you mention and only show the best deals that match the customer's requirements. There are more than 50 insurance companies in the UAE and although we don't deal with all of them yet, we are expanding and will add more overtime. The whole idea of the comparison site is to prevent customers the hassle of shopping around. That's what we do, we simply pass on the best deals and let the customer make their own choice. Same for the additional cover, we give the options and the customer makes the choice if he/she wants to add them or not. We are dealing with some of the market leaders as well (in reply to manual inquiries) though some are not that keen to be shown on our site which simply means that they don't like that we are trying to make the insurance market more transparent.   

In Europe and the USA it has been proven that comparison websites serve a big share of the market because of the convenience to compare and select on just one website (different insurance products and different insurance companies). The more clients they started to serve, the stronger their buying power became towards the insurance companies. This is what we are striving for as well so we can pass on the best deals to our clients.       

Only limited to 5 insurers and I don't see the comparison between the market leaders ie ADNIC, Orient, OIC, AXA, RSA etc. These brand names give more additional beneficial covers than the mentioned insurers. I did a test quote the premium works out to be the same as offered by the top market insurers. Try RAK Bank for motor quote you will be surprised what covers they can offer at competitive premiums.

See my post above regarding my experiences with online insurance comparison in the UAE. A pleasant alternative is available if you still need insurance.

Or you could try the TAKAFUL website. worked out cheapest for me and lets be honest, do you really think that if a local runs into you being insured will be the remotest help.
 

Ok so I have tried both pricefinder and Insureme.ae. My experience was simple! Insureme.ae was SO much better, easier to use better rates quoted, and the BEST part was the CONVENIENCE of purchasing my insurance ONLINE on the SPOT! I have been in Dubai for a while now, and personally I am fed up with having to deal with people over the phone or running around. The EASE of being able to get the BEST rates ONLINE INSTANTLY and PURCHASE them is PERFECT and welcome with LOVING OPEN ARMS!

Frankly speaking I think within a short due course they will have more vehicles covered and MORE Insurance companies on board, that is natural... This is what the market needed and its here, lets embrace it, I DID & I LOVE IT!

I gave you the benefit of the doubt & returned to your site to get a quote on my car that is due for a 'renew' in August. The car is a BMW 3 series - nice & simple & very common in this region, so no worries I thought.

So,

Can you please explain to me WHY if I am 27 & been driving for 8 years - you are only able to give me 1 quote out of 5, for a seemingly popular car. That is not what insurance comparison is about. That quote was also over AED5000 which is extortionate given that the value of the car is only AED60,000.

Needless to say, I went to pricefinder.ae where I submitted the same information & got 5 complete quotes, one of which was less than AED3,000 and with AXA again. I agree that I needed to wait 40 minutes before the quotes were in my inbox, but for AED2000 extra in my bank, it was worth it.

Thanks for trying to convince me, but maybe next time.

We have been doing the same test based on the details you provided about your car and yourself…. and received 4 quotes instantly with prices far below what you think is such a great deal with the other website. Actually our cheapest deal is almost half of that.

What we’ve noticed is that you requested “agency repair”. There are not many insurance companies in the UAE that offer “agency repair” for cars older than 6 year. This is why the insurance companies we currently deal with offer little choice for some cars when you choose "agency repair". We advise you to give it another try and go for the "non agency repair" option, you will be amazed about the price difference.

Of course we respect your choice and this is why we have a hotline where customers can always request quotes from insurance companies not currently listed as well for cases were we offer little choice. This way InsureMe.ae captures the best of two Worlds (online and offline inquiries). 
 
For the majority I would think that a quick and smart online process is preferred. It can be done anytime, anywhere 24/7.
